Hey guys! So the other day, I put together this super simple green eye look.
This look kind of reminds me of an alligator or St. Patricks day, but it’s super wearable any time of the year and it seems to be a part of a summery/spring trend to wear ‘fun’ colors on your eyes. Plus, this is such an easy look (four shadows!)and it really makes my red hair pop. I kept the lashes and liner simple so that no one would feel uneasy wearing this out:-)
If you want to find out how I did it, keep on reading.
What you’ll need: EYES
Too faced shadow insurance in ‘candlelight’
MAC shadows in ‘Lucky green’, ‘shroom’
NXY eyeshadow in ‘exotic green’
Napoleon shadow disc in ‘black velvet’
YSL ‘Mascara Singulier’
MAC Technikohl liner in ‘Graphblack’
CHEEKS and LIPS
I forgot to take pictures of my cheeks and lips, but to complete this look I used:
Benefit ‘Coralista’ boxed powder blush
Dior Dioraddict ultra glow gloss in 256
First using just your finger, blend Too Faced shadow insurance in ‘ Candlelight’ all over your lid up to your brow. This will add extra shimmer to your shadow and help your eyeshadow look more vivid, blend easier and stay on longer.
Now using a 239 brush pat ‘Lucky Green’ all over your lid.
Next take a 217 brush and place ‘Exotic Green’ into your crease. Keep it concentrated on the outer corner, but work your way into the inner corner. Blend nicely into lucky green to create a seamless transition.
Now taking a 222 brush, blend ‘Black Velvet’ into the outer corner.
Lastly for eyeshadow take a 213 and place ‘Shroom’ onto the brow-bone as a highlight. If you have darker skin, feel free to use a slightly darker highlight shade.
For eyeliner using a 266 take ‘Black Velvet’ shadow again and line your upper lash-line.
lightly swipe ‘Graphblack’ Technikohl liner onto the outer 2/3rds of your lower lashline and apply one coat of YSL ‘Mascara Singulier’
For cheeks, just take a 116 and blend ‘Coralista’ onto your apples and blend back.
For Lips apply Dior addict gloss in ‘256’
And your all done!!!!
Here it is again:-)
Hope you enjoy your new green look and comment telling me what my next tutorial should be!
